Kim Pong is the CEO and Founder of StrengthsAsia.  At StrengthsAsia, he is a coach, a speaker, and a facilitator.  His vision is to help everyone in every organization in Asia to know who they are at their very best and how they can bring this best to impact their families, work, relationships, communities, and nations.  He calls this, his game of the impossible.

Under the leadership of Kim Pong, StrengthsAsia has one of the largest strengths-based coaching platforms in Asia.  The Gallup Organization recognizes him as among Asia’s most accomplished practitioners of strengths-based development and talent management strategies.

In his strengths engagement work with the tertiary and educational institutions, he is a faculty member on the “Smith Leadership Program for Women” in Smith College (Boston), and the “Strengths Based Leadership for Church Leaders Program” in the Tung Ling Bible School of Leadership.  He is also the regular coach for the National University of Singapore’s  ongoing “Emerging Leaders Program”.

Kim Pong is among the first 20 Gallup Certified Strengths Coach in the world and he was trained by his mentor, Curt Lisveld, who was a giant in the world of strengths engagement. 

Kim Pong is the creator of The REFRAME Program. REFRAME is on helping high achievers get clarity, capabilities and reframe their current success to designing their best lift of purpose and greater joy, engagement, and meaning. 

Kim Pong is a founding board member of the Transformational Business Network (TBN) Asia. TBN Asia is part of TBN, which is an established impact investment collaborative platform in the world. TBN Asia brings people and organizations together to fight poverty through enterprise.

Ming Ying reinvented herself as a Coach & HR Practitioner after taking time off to raise her 3 sons through their formative years. Her work experience spans operations in the hospitality industry, change management in the textile and garment industry and learning development in building materials manufacturing. She also oversees the full spectrum of HR activities in a small and medium enterprise, functioning primarily as HR Business Partner.

Also, a recreational endurance athlete and budding bass guitarist, she has been described as a great encourager and a catalyst for positive change. Dr. Sherman Ong is a Strengths Evangelist. His personal mission statement is “Live Best; Leave Best!” In the last 31 years, he has worked in four different major industry sectors, namely, Manufacturing (Aerospace and Defense), Information and Communication Technology, Education, and Healthcare Industry Sector. From 1983, he had covered several job roles during the manufacturing phase as a trained professional mechanical engineer from engineering, quality assurance, plant management, to management information systems.

In 1994, Dr. Ong took a career switch to ICT to sell Enterprise Resources Planning systems, systems integration implementation and project management services. He continued successfully for the next 13 years. In 2000, he was the founding President and CEO of Peppers and Rogers Group Asia (a one-to-one marketing consulting firm). During this time, he completed a Master’s of Business Studies with the National University of Ireland with 1st Class Honours; and was the First Overall Student for the batch. He completed the Doctor of Business Administration with The University of Western Australia and moved on to take up a role as Chief Development Officer cum Chief Quality Officer at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) in 2008. Dr Ong was Dean of Business School at Universitas Pelita Harapan in Karawaci, Indonesia in 2016. Currently, he is the Chief Operating Officer at Dental Focus International, and continues to provide strengths coaching.

From 2010 to 2013, he started a new department known as the Quality and Clinical Governance Department at NCCS, and was appointed as the first Chief Quality Officer. In 2011, he attended the Asia International Executive Program organised by INSEAD (Singapore) for C-level executives. He left NCCS in 2014 to pursue his halftime interest to live a life of significance. A Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Trevor’s passion for training and coaching begin in the year 2000. He served as a LUTC Moderator to facilitate and equip young aspiring professionals with skills, knowledge and professional ethics to improve the standards of the financial services industry.

As Executive Director of Yong-en Care Centre, he led a team of 22 staff in the running of 4 core social services in the Chinatown area. His role as agency head has enabled him to sharpen his coaching and people development skills. The journey caused him to see life from a different perspective as he encountered some individuals who in the face of overwhelming adversity have developed tremendous resilience. This birth his passion to help young and senior learners discover the ‘best’ version of themselves and live out their full potential.

Currently, he is as Head, Community Engagement in his church. His role is to mobilize the church in reaching and serving the needs of residents in Punggol. Using his talent themes of Harmony and Arranger, he helps church members build consensus and strengthen collaborations within the church as well as with community stakeholders.

Using his 15 plus years of experience and training as a Certified Financial Planner, he brings financial literacy to the public as an Associate Trainer at the Institute for Financial Literacy. His passion is to equip individuals with the necessary skills to make good and sound financial decisions.

Trevor holds a Bachelor Degree in Business from the University of Oregon, Eugene. Married to San San, they have 3 young adult children plus a teenager.
